Ali Rashid is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) from a big 4 accounting firm with more than 25 years of experience in various Sectors such as Fintech, Insurance, Banking, Government, Transportation, Parking and Toll gates, and with audit experience gained in sectors such as retail, manufacturing, construction, education and hospitality.

Ali has held CFO positions, and contributed in Advisor/Consultant roles in the private as well as public sector, and has worked in 2 startups and has an MSc in Finance from the London Business School in UK.

Ali’s has extensive experience with ERP systems like Oracle Financials and has optimized ERP systems to produce timely monthly closings and provide all the data required for management decision making as well as for external audits.

Ali also has extensive experience in Financial Modelling, business plans, financial feasibility studies and advanced analysis of financial statements and business situations. Ali has extensive experience in transitioning from cash accounting to Accrual accounting in a large government entity and was a Sarbanes Oxley/ICFR (internal controls for financial reporting) consultant to the banking and asset management sector in the UK.
